Day 97: The Passive Voice Is Used

In On Writing, it is exhorted by Stephen King that the passive voice is something that should never be used by writers. Today, there was an opportunity for me to review my writing so that it could be seen if passive voice was used. It was found that the passive voice was used in a large number of instances. However, it is my opinion that it is really not that large an offense if the passive voice is used. The passive voice is used often by many writers and it is usually understood by readers. It is not that bad. I am of the opinion that there is no room for improvement in my writing on this account.
