Day 64: Gratitude List

  • having a generous friend who agreed to come over on short notice and pet sit

  • spending the day with my mother’s sister, nineteen years since my mother passed

  • watching my cousin’s daughter play on a really good girl’s high school soccer team (they tied, but ended up “bracket champion”)

  • discovering Nate Bergotze (yeah, just now) and laughing with my husband until we cried over a marital fight about chocolate milk

  • turning off the game when the other team loads the bases in the bottom of the ninth
