Day 56: Buy Me Some Peanuts …

I’ll be bugging out a little early this afternoon to head up to PNC Park. Sure, I like the Pirates and love the park - but more importantly, the Cubs are in town!

Despite a disastrous May (10-18, .357 W-L %), the Cubs are currently occupying one of the NL Wild Card spots, and are only three games behind the division-leading Brewers in the NL Central.

I didn’t make it to a game at all in 2022, and I was on vacation during the Cubs’ first Pittsburgh road trip this year.

Time to put on my royal blue 1980s practice jersey and really annoy my family by cheering for the visiting team!
