Day 335: AI and Human Evolution

I agree with Yuval Noah Harari that human thriving in the age of AI will require evolution. Maybe it’s time to get serious about consciousness.

I’ve always been fascinated by this interview with John Butler, an English farmer, by Iain MacNair on conscioustv. Not that Butler really says anything revolutionary. He’s not a poet or a philosopher; he’s a farmer. But there’s something there, and it comes through in what he says. Maybe it’s an example, not a description, of consciousness.
