Day 292: Class Gift

Last December, a group of third-year students came to my house for a holiday party and we played The Five Second Game. In the game, you draw a card that contains a question, and you have five seconds to answer it.

Someone drew a card that said, “Name three gifts a student gives to a teacher.” As we were discussing the answer, I commented that I didn’t know — students don’t give me gifts!

Today, the third-year class president and some of his classmates (who were all there for the game at Christmas) presented me with this mug as a token of their appreciation.

Totally love this — now I can’t say students never gift me gifts!
