Day 263: Being the Change We Want to See in WVU

Sure, I’ve been disappointed in WVU this year. I think I have pretty decent reasons.

But this is my community. And I have a choice. I want to focus on the things I still love about WVU — and there are many of them.

The opportunity to work with students to ensure noncitizens in West Virginia get quality representation …

The WVU student mentality — inspired to change the world for the better but grounded with salt-of-the-earth good sense and decency …

The way Woodburn Hall in the low light of early evening takes my breath away …

These are just a few reasons I decided to help support WVU’s Day of Giving on March 20. I’ll click on the link below between 7 and 8 a.m., and several other times throughout the day. I’ll make multiple smaller donations instead of one larger one to help unlock Most Gift Challenge awards and matching gifts for scholarship and the law clinics tied to number of gifts (of any size) received.

That’s the change I want to see be at WVU. What about you?
