Day 191: Delay of Game

A few years ago, Gary got hit with the flu at Thanksgiving. As he shivered from the fever, he said, “Maybe I have Alzheimer’s.”

“You mean Parkinson’s?”

“Yeah, see — that’s the Alzheimer’s.”

Change of Plans

The spring semester starts tomorrow, but it looks like I’ll be transferring base of operations to home for a bit.

I’m pretty sure I don’t have Alzheimer’s, but I’ve been shivering all day. Fortunately the COVID test came out negative, but I won’t venture far tomorrow.

The couch has its redeeming qualities, however. The Steelers clinched a playoff spot after Jacksonville’s 28-20 loss to Tennessee, and the fleecy blanket I got for Christmas came in clutch.
